The British Academy of Sports (BAS) is well known in Kuwait as always encourage more than 1000 children in a year to be physically active and playing sports together .BAS is the only academy that offers more than 10 Sports Courses.
Lucian has been the Director of The British Academy of Sport since 2013 and during that time he developed the extra-curricular programme of activities from 6 to 10 sports ,an offer to children from more than 70 nationalities who attend BAS Courses and activities.
He has organized and led a series of highly successful Sports events apart from the courses such as Summer Sports Camps, Awards Evening, Swimming Gala and International Sports Trips to well known European and Asian destinations. Until now, more than 250 children from the academy have traveled with Lucian and his team to Ireland, Romania, Greece, Spain, Dubai and Singapore where the students have improved their skills and they discovered new sports.
From when he joined the Academy, he started to organize annual Volleyball and Basketball Tournaments between Embassies in Kuwait where every year more then 20 Embassies participate with their teams to these unique sports events.
Lucian made BAS the success story that is today as his priority at all time is to ensure that the students are exposed to teaching of the highest quality. Right now he is managing more than 50 European Coaches and Assistants who are working as part time for the Academy.
Apart from his work at the Academy, he is the Founder of Romanians In Kuwait Group and he worked close with the Embassy to support the Romanian Community and to promote Romania in Kuwait as well. He organized with the Embassy eight editions of Romanian Cultural events and brought twelve famous singers to perform in Kuwait.
He is currently a member of Canadian Business Council and Australian Business Group in Kuwait.
